Orwell Women's Crit League 2018 - HELP NEEDED

Hi all
The Orwell Women's Crit League, sponsored this year by Appleby Jewelers, kicks off next Tuesday the 10th of April. We are putting a call out for volunteers to help Marshal at these races.

There are only 6 Tuesdays in the League - we would appreciate it if people could volunteer for one or more of the nights. There is no previous experience required, everything will be explained on the night.

Tuesday 10th April - Black Bull Time Trial. 4 Marshals needed
Tuesday 17th April - Corkagh Park - 2 needed
Tuesday 24th April - Corkagh Park - 2 needed
Tuesday 1st May - Corkagh Park - 2 needed
Tuesday 8th May - Brittas/Blessington - TBC but 10 plus needed
Tuesday 15th May - Black Bull Time Trial - 4 needed

Are there 2 people out there who would like to help out tomorrow night?

At the moment Yvonne has volunteered to marshal tomorrow night but if possible it would be great if all Orwell women could race.

We would ask the Marshals to meet Orla/Dave Mc at the start/finish at 6.30pm and we will explain what is needed. Tomorrow night is John Twomey, David Hendron, Luke GJ Potter, and Barry Mooney

Great turn out considering the weather. Couldn't have been much fun riding either.

If there is anyone else out there who is free to help next Tuesday night please let us know. This is the only road race of the Women’s Crit League and we need to cover all the junctions.

We meet at 6.30 iat Mooney’s Pub in Manor Kilbride (on the Sally Gap Rd). Racing starts at 7pm and we should be finished by 8pm.

All offers of help will be greatfully appreciated! Can you post here if available?

We are still desperately looking for marshals to help out at the road race round of the Appleby Womens Crit league this Tuesday.

So far we have Luke Potter and Sinead Brennan. Ciara Ni F is giving up her race to marshal too.

We meet at Mooney's Pub in Manor Kilbride . Marshals need to be there at 6.30pm. We should be finished by 8pm ish

We promise sandwiches and really nice cake to anyone who helps!!
