Great Dublin Bike Ride 23rd September

The Great Dublin Bike Ride takes place on Sunday the 23rd of September. Registration is now open. Last year Scott Orwell Wheelers was the biggest club taking part so let’s see if we can hold on to the number one slot again this year. When you register add your name to this discussion so we know who is coming along. I’m happy to lead a fast yellow / orange group on the day so just go ahead and register for the 105km route and reply to this post and arrangements will be posted closer to the event. If someone wants to lead a white or yellow group let me know please and I will coordinate arrangements for everyone.

I have entered along with with my wife (not an Orwell member). We’re down for the 105KM route.

I enrolled yesterday Eamonn 105k & would prefer white please

I have signed up for the 65km with my wife (not in Orwell), I imagine we will be aiming for white pace.

Last year I organised that we would all rendezvous outside the Harolds Cross Pub just over the bridge where we all cycled into the start together. Once we were out of town we all formed into the various groups. It seemed to work well.

Maybe we should organise something similar this year?
