Joe Daly Memorial Cycle for Simpsons Hospital Sunday 29th June 2020

The Joe Daly Memorial Cycle in aid of Simpsons hospital is an annual event that the team at Joe Daly Cycles always look forward to.

We had planned on celebrating Joe's 100th birthday year in 2020 with a special cycle on Sunday 29th June. Covid-19 restrictions however means that we have to reluctantly cancel the event.

In a year where all fund raising by the friends of Simpsons has been cancelled due to Covid-19 we want to say a huge THANK YOU to Orwell for your generous donation which will go direct to the hospital to support their services.

For now we will have to content with keeping Joe's age at 99 years young for another year but look forward to you joining us to celebrate and enjoy next year's cycle in June '21.

We will miss the annual trip out to Enniskerry, it is always a great day and a real family, social event. We will be back with bigger numbers and rearing to go for 2021!

We are more than happy to continue the club support for the event and delighted that we were able to contribute in a small way, we know the money will be spent well and used to bring smiles to many faces in this tough year.

Happy almost 100th birthday to Joe, we will raise a lucozade to him in Enniskerry next year;)
