Just a heads up for a date in your diary - marshal training for any newcomers to the league will take place on Thursday 22nd March. It'll be 19.30 in Ballinteer Community School.

If you're not sure whether you need to attend this training, then you most probably need to attend this training.

If you've taken part in the league in the last four years, then you've already sat this training and don't need to do it again. I'll be getting in touch with participants directly during the week, but wanted to give advance notice.

If you've done the IVCA training, that is quite similar to this and also gives you a pass.

If you're thinking "sure I've done plenty of racing", but you haven't been through this training before, then you need to do it so we can ensure a safe league for all participants. It's not long or onerous, so make sure the date is in the diary!

I'll be out of the country on the day. Are there any other dates scheduled?

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the message - just wondering if you had a bit more info about the night itself? As in are we expected to bring anything (bike etc.) and if we have to pre-register?

Thanks a mill for the help!

Rory

I won't be able to make it on Thursday. Will there be another chance? Thanks

Apologies if this is really late in the day. Would it be possible to join the club league?
(I can attend tomorrow.)

If so - I will get my CI licence upgraded from 'Leisure' to Limited Competition, and pay the additional €30 with Orwell.

No worries if I'm too late, thanks, Glyn

Hi Glyn, the deadline was three weeks ago, and all the preparation work is done at this point. There's always next year!

Hi Brian!

Out of curiosity, how long do you think the training will take?
Cheers,

Rory

Thanks for the talk last night guys, was very useful!

In relation to having circuits mapped out online ahead of time, I thought I post the link to the SwordsCC circuits and how they made them;

swordscc.com/club-league/circuits/

Hope its not sacrilege to post something like this from another club :p, but they have done a really good job with having a strava link, map and legend for each of their regularly used circuits.

Something similar for Orwell would be really amazing :)
