FANTASTIC results coming from Witham Hall where Lara took the win in the final stage today to finish in 3rd overall!

The final stage came down to a breakaway with Lara, Maeve Gallagher and a British rider until Lara and Maeve broke clear and battled it out in the sprint finish with Lara taking the honours:)

Final GC after stage 3:

1. Anna Shackley, Team 22
2. Maeve Gallagher, Team Ireland
3 Lara Gillespie, Team Ireland

Apologies to Lara for not posting this sooner but I just found the stage 2 results and it shows what a fighter Lara is and what an amazing result 3rd was at the weekend!

How is this for determination & a comeback...
Lara was 53rd after stage 1 in Witham Hall.
She then finished 10th in stage 2 to move up to 35th
In Stage 3 she finished 1st to move into 3rd overall and 3rd in the Sprints Competition!!

Well done Lara, epic fight back and racing
