Realistically given that the race starts at 10am and that the Shay Elliot is towards the end of both races I think we'll be up and down the hills before the race comes through. If it does come through earlier than I expect, we'll have a chance to stop and cheer on anyone from Orwell doing it.

Last week there were two groups. If the numbers are the same the plan is to do the same. A fast orange pace and a slower orange paced group.

There will probably still be a group going from the yellow house at 8.30
The proposed route below is up onto the featherbeds, down the liam horner back up the Sally Gap via Lough Tay and out to Laragh for coffee. Back home via the Sally gap.

A lot of the club is away in Tralee this weekend but a few of us are still knocking around.....
Plan for Sunday Mountains Group this week is to meet at 830am Yellow House and we aim to do a handy paced(Miwadi Orange to Tropicana Orange) spin doing a bit of prep work for next week's w200....
We'll head to Cruagh-Sally Gap-Laragh for a quick 15 mins stop. Then onto Shay Elliot-Left to Greenane-up Brown Mountain-up Sliabh Mann-Shay Elliot Laragh for 30mins break and return via Glenmacnass-Sally Gap-Featherbeds home. Not really sure how long this is but prob 120km with 2500+metres and 9 peaks.
All welcome to come along...again light to mid orange pace pace and we'll regroup at the tops of each climb and no one will ever be left behind
