Good luck to all in the Youth tour!

Good luck to all of our youths racing in the Youth tour this weekend. For most of our young riders this is the highest level at which they will get to compete, and is their equivalent of the Rás, Rás na mBan or Junior Tour.

We will be very well represented this year with Killian O'Brien, Katie Reilly and Annie Roche in the under 12s, Ronan O'Connor, Andrew Ryan, Caoimhe May in the under 14s, and Tadhg Fitzsimons, Peter Walsh and Lara Gillespie in the under 16s.

They action kicks off with a lumpy, hilly road race tomorrow, so they are all up there getting ready to go now. Good luck all, we know you'll make us proud!

1st result of the weekend, Annie Roche is first girl on stage 1 in the under 12s.

Not the first member of the Roche family to wear a pink leader's jersey in an international stage race!
