The ever popular Dundrum Town Centre Orwell Wheelers promotion will once again take place on the familiar circuit in the Meadowmount estate in Ballinteer where Stephen Roche turned his first pedal strokes on the road to Tour de France glory.

With a 1.3 kilometre circuit the riders are never far from view and the closed roads and central green area where fans and racers congregate help to produce a carnival atmosphere that makes the Stephen Roche Grand Prix one of the most popular social outings of the year as well as an opportunity to see the best criterium riders in Ireland.

There is a full programme of races for youth riders starting at 7pm with the Stephen Roche Grand Prix for senior riders due to start at 7.45pm.

All senior categories are eligible to ride with A3/A4 riders given a handicap start ahead of the A1/A2 entrants.

Sign on and parking for competitor vehicles is at Ballinteer Community School from 6.15pm to 7.15pm.

Competitors are reminded that there is no warming up on the circuit during the youth races.
