The ever popular youth interclub league starts this Mon 25th July including Bray Wheelers, Sorrento and Orwell, and is ideally suited as an introduction to racing, with an emphasis on fun, as each rider competes for points for their club, which go towards a club or team prize at the end.

If you have any youngsters who are interested in cycling this is the ideal way to let them try their hands at racing, as each evening usually starts with a Time trial and then the racing is handicapped by ability so everyone has a chance to win, irrespective of their experience or training. The league caters for riders from 6-16, and any type of bike is acceptable so long as it is roadworthy.

The league consists of two road races, two mountain bike races and one track race, including a skills competition.

We would be very grateful to anyone who might be free to help out and come along on any of the evenings, as the more helpers the better. Also some bike marshals are needed, so if you can bring your bike that would be great.
