We've posted the calendar and rider matrix for the inaugural Orwell Club League, along with the marshalling roster. You can click here, and the file will be available for the season in the yellow 'General Info' section on the main page.

Firstly, please check that your name appears as expected, in the right group. If you have paid up your league fees and aren't on the list, or are in the wrong group, let us know at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

If you haven't paid up your fees in full as well as your marshalling deposit, this will be due at or before the first TT. You will not be allowed to take part until you are paid up in full.

Secondly, please check your marshalling slots. Everyone is required to marshall two nights, and if the dates don't suit you, it is your responsibility to find a replacement. Swaps can be arranged in the forum.

Marshalling duty requires you to be at sign-on at least 30 minutes prior to the race start, to give the organiser time to allocated you a position, and for you to get to that position. Remember, the organisers are giving up their evening's racing as well, so please help them out by turning up at the earlier time. Arriving five minutes before the race is due to start is not acceptable.

We are trialling a texting system this year - on the Sunday prior to the race, that week's race organiser will text a reminder to all the marshals that are scheduled for the following Thursday.

If you have made a swap, please let the organiser know the name of your replacement by the Tuesday before the race, either via text or the forum. If you fail to turn up for marshalling duties, your €50 deposit will be forfeited. If you haven't notified the marshall of a swap, and your replacement fails to show, it's still your deposit lost, not your replacement's. So make sure to give plenty of notice of any swaps.

Marshalls should travel to the races by car if possible, as this enables the timely placing of marshalls on the course. It would also be helpful if people could indicate if they are willing to drive a lead car.

Round 1: 5k TT

The first round is a 5k TT along Ballybrack Road on 4th April, starting near Johnnie Fox's pub in Glencullen. Sign-on closes at 6.50pm, with first rider away at 7.01pm. We hope to allocate start times before the event, so that riders can plan their warm-ups for a pre-determined time.

Car parking and sign on is in the Pine Forest Arts Center. Find it at http://goo.gl/maps/QktBy or directions at http://www.pineforestartcentre.com/location.htm

All fees relating to league must be paid before the race.
