  • The Stephen Roche GP treated onlookers to some spectacular entertainment last night, with family-friendly novice races, a set of youth races, and the headline event being shaped by several moves before James Davenport (SDCC) jumped well clear to take a superb win, all in the company of the man himself, Stephen Roche.

  • Nearly sixty riders signed on in gorgeous conditions last night, with two riders coming out on top in the senior races - Davids Maher and Halpin. A tie in the junior race meant both Uisneach Sheridan and Andrew Ryan claimed first place.

  • A month ago today, the Giro d'Italia came to Ireland, with the Grande Partenza taking place in Belfast, and a sprint finish in Dublin. Orwell were all over the race, and we've included three tales below - thanks to Aideen Collard, Ivan O'Brien, and Brian McArdle.

  • Last Sunday, the Orwell Youths went on an away day to Lucan BMX club. It is one of a series of a trips they will be doing over the winter, introducing them to different disciplines and will include MTBing, CX, Track and Crit cycling. If anyone of you thought that BMXing was easy peasy, be warned - there is a reason they insist on full face masks.
