  • Bryan Geary takes us through his recent upgrade to A1. He recounts his early racing days and his return to the top domestic level.

  • It's a delight to commence the 2014 race reports with a superb win for Aideen Keenan in Monasterevin yesterday, and a fine fourth for Bernard English in the A4 event.

  • Ahead of today's National League opener, we asked Ned Flanagan winner Aideen Keenan to reflect on her experiences in Clonard last weekend.

  • The weather could not have been more different, but Orwell riders brought home the bacon both days last weekend. In Summerhill, Tom Blennerhassett, David Halpin and Brian McNally lit it up on Dorey's Forge, while in Navan Ciara Kinch tore it up for second place, while Juniors Rachael Kaye-Mellor and Naoise Sheridan also took home prizes.

  • On a damp and dismal day in Dundalk, Monica Marconi netted herself a great third place in the women's race at the Trader's Cup.

  • With no Orwell results in Clonard on Saturday, all eyes were on Newbridge to salvage the weekend, and the club did not disappoint! Diarmuid Collins, Mark Mulcahy and Ciara Kinch all took home prizes, read about them below.

  • Easter 2018 was a busy weekend for the men of Scott-Orwell Wheelers. There were no women or youths/juniors racing so the men took centre stage with two big events – Ras Mumhan for the A1/A2 racers, and The Gorey Three Day for the A3s.

  • Orwell Wheelers are once more gearing up for the promotion of Ireland's top annual criterium, the Stephen Roche Grand Prix on Wednesday 25th June at Meadowmount, Ballinteer, Co Dublin.

Update: Stephen Roche himself will be on hand this year, and we've added the prize list below!

  • Orwell were out in numbers at the weekend, chasing results in Balbriggan. They didn’t come away empty-handed, with Brendan Lawless and Philippe Bourdarias taking unplaced prizes, and Neil Whelan and Seamus Nolan placing in the A4 race on Sunday.
