The Orwell women finished off last season in style, when great teamwork helped Trish Buckley clinch the Costa Classic, and they're looking to continue in the same winning fashion! Click below for a message from women's racing rep, Mags Donnelly.

Hi all,

I was chatting to a few people recently and suggested at the Orwell committee meeting last night that women interested in racing for Orwell this year should meet in the next week to discuss the season's racing opportunities and possibilities for Orwell riders.

The idea for this meeting came out of a discussion with a few racers recently, and the meeting is to see if we can help each other during, before and after races to achieve the best results possible this year for riders and the club. There are quite a number of women interested in racing this year, so it would make sense to have some level of co-ordination based on feedback/ambitions of the riders.

Any ideas/thoughts before the meeting are welcome!
