The Appleby Orwell Women's League, hosted by Pinergy Orwell Wheelers, returns for 2024 and we are delighted to announce that Appleby Jewellers are staying on as the event sponsors for another year!
Want to get involved in women's racing? The Appleby Orwell Women's League is the perfect place to start and entries are now open. Run over six week's from April 9th to May 14th the league caters for riders of all abilities, from beginners right up to experienced racers.

SPECIAL LICENCE FOR 2024!
If you don't have a Cycling Ireland Limited Comp or Competition licence a special arrangement has been made with Cycling Ireland this year for people to give racing a go - The license fee to upgrade for this event will be 10 euro for CI members or 20 for non CI members. This will cover all 6 rounds. Full details on EventMaster.

- Tuesday April 9th: Time Trial - Pine Forrest TT (Parking at The GAP)
- Tuesday April 16th: Criterium - Corkagh Park
- Tuesday April 23rd: Criterium - Corkagh Park
- Tuesday April 30th Criterium - Corkagh Park
- Tuesday May 7th: Road Race - Brittas Circuit
- Tuesday May 14th: Time Trial - Pine Forrest - followed by Prizegiving at The GAP

PRE LEAGUE TRAINING SESSION:
For newcomers and anyone interested in racing, Orwell Wheelers will be running a training session on April 2nd in Corkagh Park. The session will be run by Orwell's Orla Hendron, who is a Cycling Ireland Level 2 coach. Orla will cover the basics of racing and the skills of riding in fast paced group
