At the first round of the IVCA league in Dunsany on Sunday, Orwell had riders placing in three races.

Founded in 1948, Orwell is amongst the biggest and most famous cycling clubs in Ireland. Based in Dublin, we cater to all levels of fitness and ability - from beginners to elite riders, male and female from youth to veteran. The club had its roots in road racing but has become very active in many other areas including leisure riding, audaxing, randonnée events, cyclocross and track racing. We run organised weekly training spins most of the year.

A fantastic turnout from 14 Orwell riders at Rás na nÓg, all looking sharp in the new kit! For some, it was their first taste of stage racing - welcome to the world of racing Tadhg Connolly, Daniel O’Sullivan, and James O’Brien!
The Coombes Connor 2025, hosted by Drogheda Wheelers, saw a massive entry in the C3 race, with over 120 riders lining up. Orwell Wheelers were well represented in their new kit, with over eight riders taking to the start.
Pinergy Orwell Wheelers CC headed west with a strong team of riders: Joe-Nathan Matar, Luke Keaney, Sean O'Kane, and Dick O'Brien, with DS Wissam Matar and team mechanic Luke Potter.

Week 3 of racing was a bumper Bank Holiday weekend, with with the Lucan GP on Saturday before racers traveled west on Sunday to the Galway Classic and then south to Sean Kelly Country for the Bobby Power Memorial
