McNulty and Lynch in the money on Stagg 3-Day
Stagg 3-Day - Round 2, Batterstown, Tuesday 9th June
Gary McNulty's impressive comeback continued apace in stage two of the Stagg 3-Day Batterstown on Tuesday evening as he sprinted in for a fine second place with Orwell clubmate Eddie Lynch close behind.
McNulty and Lynch were active throughout the three laps of the Green Sheds course as the large Vets/Thirds/Juniors/Women group held off the chase by the first and second category riders.
The combined group stayed together to the line where McNulty edged Lynch for the runner up spot behind Brendan Whelan of the host club.
