I blame the lead-out man who went off far too fast!!!
Good craic, wicked course for a team time trial.............

Handicap definitely kept it interesting, and made it a fair fight across all the categories. The course was a killer though - can we have something flatter next year? I was 30mins late for work this morning I was so wrecked!

I think the handicaps were a truly excellent idea (heehee!)
One thing though is that teams that have only managed to recruit 3 people are at even more of a disadvantage with this system as they only have the potential to have 3 handicaps.
Maybe a solution is to only count half of the fourth person's handicap?

The three man teams had a 2'30" deduction in lieu of a fourth rider. The two three man teams placed 2nd and 5th after the handicaps, so they probably don't have any complaints.I think the handicaps were a truly excellent idea (heehee!)
